Obsessive About Monitoring
Observu was first started as a very simple free monitoring service in 2008 by Michiel van Vlaardingen and Tycho Luyben at MovingLabs. In 2011 it turned around into a full monitoring platform combining the monitoring of both websites and servers. In 2012 the service was extensively tested with a limited number of early clients and early 2013 it was opened up for everyone to use.
We see the most value in providing the right information at the right time. Proper prioritization and providing actionable data, while collecting more and more measurements are key to success. We are taking advantage of recent advances in big data, data visualization and machine learning research every day. We strongly believe in following a developer centric approach by providing an easy API and tools for integration. Our generic architecture allows us to move fast in respond to customer needs.
Everyone involved in Observu has a technical background and is fully aware of the needs in developing, operating and maintaining online business. Developers handle support requests to make sure they are aware what needs to be fixed. (we really strive to see every question only once) Interested in joining our team? It never hurts to let us know.
